Q: When will there be Sunflowers again?
A: end of Feburary 2026! Mark your calendar.
Q: Where are you? How do we find you?
A: We are 25mins from Palmerston North and 50min from Masterton. Here is the Google Maps link
Q: I have got a booking, If it is bad weather can I get a refund?
A: Abbe, our Head Grower, and Photographer will refund the cost of your booking (minus booking fees) or find you an alternative date/time if it is weather that she herself would not shoot in or enjoy a picnic with her family in. Please check out our Terms and Conditions here.
Q: Can I bring my Dog?
A: We have a pretty strict no-dogs policy due to being a working farm and the sheep measles problem we inherited when purchasing this place. Dogs from the outside pose a considerable biosecurity risk. However, if you can prove to us at least three months of dosing records of Praziquantel then we are happy for you to bring the dog onto the property. This applies if you also plan to hold your dog while visiting.
Q: How can I visit the field in season?
A: We have Open Days Friday, Saturday, Sunday, check this link to see the dates. We have Exclusive Field Hire from 10am - 8.30pm Monday - Thursday.
Q: Can I fly my drone at the Sunflower Field?
A: Yes, but please contact us first to ensure you have the correct booking for doing so. We do not allow drones at Open Days.
Q: Is the Field wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes! You can drive right up to the Sunflowers if you have an Exclusive Field Booking. If you are visiting during an Open Day be sure to let the parking staff know and they can point you in the right direction for where to park. Although we do not have wheelchair toilet facilities at either of our locations - if you need a wheelchair accessible bathroom please speak to our staff as there is one just down the road at our local Community Hall.
Q: How long does it take to walk from the designated parking area to the sunflower field?
A: One minute or less!
Q: I just want to buy flowers. Where can I get them or do you ship?
A: Check out our super cute roadside stall at 239 Tutaekara Road (cash only $30 for a bunch of 5). We currently don’t offer shipping
Q: Do you have a toilet?
A: Yes, we have portaloos onsite that are regularly serviced.
Q: Do you have EFTPOS?
A: Only on Open Days. The closest ATM is Main Street, Pahiatua.
Q: Will your Open Days go ahead if it’s bad weather?
A: No, we will close if it is bad weather. We will update via our social media day of.
Q: Can I pre-buy Open Day tickets?
A: We do not take any pre-bookings for Open Days.
